Health Sciences and Wellness Program
What will I learn?
The Health Sciences & Wellness Program is recommended for students who desire a broad exploration of the health science field. Students will learn about behavioral and biological sciences. They will learn to apply professional standards and demonstrate critical thinking to health situations. Students will also learn about communication in healthcare disciplines.
The program provides general education enhanced with health science-related courses that allow a student the flexibility to apply for selective admission health science programs in different fields. Because of the varied programs available, students are urged to work closely with their advisor to meet their career goals.

Associate of Applied Science
The Health Sciences & Wellness Program is designed for students who wish to explore and prepare to apply for our selective-admission health science program. Students working toward admission into a health science program are required to declare the Associate of Applied Science in Health Science and Wellness as their program of study until they are officially accepted into a program.
This degree is designed to allow students the option to pursue a bachelor's degree.
Students in this program should work closely with their advisor on which courses to take.

This degree prepares students to apply to a limited-entry health science program at ³ÉÈ˶¶Òõ, continue into ³ÉÈ˶¶Òõ’s Bachelor of Applied Science in Healthcare Administration program or transfer to a four-year institution to pursue a bachelor's degree in healthcare or a related field.
